Antigonish
Antigonish, Nova Scotia is located
between Halifax and Cape Breton. It boasts of being the "Highland Heart of Nova
Scotia". Each year thousands enjoy the annual Highland Games (the oldest
continuous highland games in North America, running since 1863) which celebrates Antigonish's Scottish heritage.
Antigonish is a small university town. St. Francis Xavier
University was founded in 1853 and is still a significant part of the
community. The university sponsors a wonderful summer theatre and art
gallery.

get on Transcanada Highway 104. Drive time approx 2

the town of Antigonish. Or you can follow the sunrise
trail from New Glasgow (Hwy 245). Drive time approx 45 min.

Follow Transcanada Highway 104 West to the town of Antigonish. Drive time approx 30 min. |
